Dr. Stephen Martin

Emerywood Baptist Church welcomes Dr. Stephen D. Martin, better known as Steve, as our interim senior minister. Steve comes to us from Kernersville, having just completed his Intentional Interim Ministry training through the Center for Congregational Health in Winston-Salem. He served his first interim position at Union Cross Moravian Church. Before that, Steve was the minister of First Baptist Church in Kernersville for 20 years.
Steve is a storyteller, an artist, and an avid cyclist. Just ask him, and he’ll pull out his phone to show off pictures of his art. He also enjoys antique shopping in his spare time. Please welcome him warmly as we navigate this time while looking for our next senior minister.
