Welcome to Emerywood Baptist Church
You may have heard around town “We’re a different type of Baptist.” By that, we mean you’ll find here many of the best things about our Baptist heritage and practice, but you’ll also find creative new expressions and echoes of the larger Christian community.
We’re Christian by conviction, Baptist by tradition and ecumenical in spirit. We’re open to all and closed to none. We’re a church for both the head and the heart, combining passion for the gospel with serious thought about the teachings of the Bible. Everything that happens here is an expression of one or more of our principles.
We are a church that lives out three disciplines: “Think” “Live” and “Serve.” These create a roadmap for discipleship that we strive to follow faithfully. As we follow them, we are able to connect to others, build relationships and open our lives to each other. There are a host of things happening here at Emerywood.
